Planlogi is a cloud transport management system (TMS) for European road hauliers and forwarders running 5-100 trucks: orders, dispatch, eCMR, a driver app with ePOD, customer tracking and invoicing synced to accounting, in one EU-hosted system. Impargo is a German cloud platform for truck dispatchers that began as a truck route planner with toll calculation and has added order management, a dispatch board and a driver app around it.
If you are weighing an Impargo alternative, or comparing the two for the first time, this page covers what a transport manager actually checks: eCMR, dispatch, the driver app, invoicing, accounting sync, hosting and the price at your fleet size. Both products are built for the carrier’s side of the desk and both publish their prices. The difference is where each product started and what a haulier pays as the fleet grows. If most of your day is quoting and routing a few trucks through German tolls, Impargo is a good tool and its free plan is real. If most of your day is running orders from intake to invoice, with an eCMR that holds up at a roadside check, Planlogi is the better fit for a 5 to 100 truck haulier running orders to invoice across borders, and the price stays the same when you add a dispatcher or ten drivers.

How we compared
Every Impargo fact comes from Impargo’s own pricing, product, billing, integrations, FAQ and privacy pages and from its app-store listings, all checked in October 2026, with the public listing linked where one exists. “Not listed” in the tables means we could not find the feature on those pages; it does not necessarily mean Impargo lacks it. Prices for both products are shown on the same billing terms, and the “Choose Impargo if” list is there because for some hauliers Impargo is the right answer.
Who Planlogi is built for
Planlogi is made for four kinds of carrier.
The owner of a 5-20 truck haulier who still dispatches, invoices and chases paperwork personally and wants the office to run without hiring. The transport manager of a 20-50 truck company who needs several dispatchers, subcontractors and the accounting team working from the same orders. The one-person forwarder or specialist operator coordinating a few trucks or subcontracted drivers from WhatsApp, email and Excel. And the operations lead of a larger fleet or multi-site operation, with terminals, depots or several departments and an ERP to connect, who wants the same system across the whole business without an enterprise rollout. Rain Transport runs about 120 vehicles with four dispatchers on it. Ott, transport planner at Tarvi Transport, calls it “a transport management app made by a carrier, for carriers.” Planlogi is not built for 500-plus truck enterprise fleets with heavy custom deployments, and it is not a shipper-side freight exchange or a warehouse system.

What hauliers can check before they trust it: the prices are on the pricing page with no setup fee and no per-user or per-driver charges; the eCMR has been on the Estonian official e-CMR integration partner list since 2024 and is eFTI-ready; data sits in EU data centres with encryption and role-based access; and named customers, from Rain Transport with about 120 vehicles to TruckMovers with one person in the office, have published their results. A new team is usually working in it within an hour.

Bottom line: Impargo is the better routing and quoting tool for a one-desk office in Germany. Planlogi is the simpler, fixed-price order-to-invoice system for a haulier with a few dispatchers, more than a handful of drivers, and cross-border eCMR obligations.
Choose Planlogi if…
You run 5 to 100 trucks and want orders, dispatch, eCMR, driver app and invoicing in one place from the first plan, not from the top plan.
You cross borders and need a consignment note that is a legal eCMR, not a scanned photo of paper.
You have more than one dispatcher or more than five drivers, and you want the monthly price to stay the same when you hire.
Your accounting runs on a separate accounting software and you want invoices out on the day of delivery.
You want a system the office can run the same day, with pricing you understand.
Choose Impargo if…
You are a German or Austrian haulier under 10 trucks whose main pain is quoting and toll-accurate truck routing.
You want a free tool today and a €44.90 plan tomorrow, without talking to anyone.
You use Lexware Office or sevDesk and need invoices pushed there.
You buy through your SVG cooperative, which sells Impargo white-labelled as SVG CargoApps (SVG Hessen).
You want AI order capture from PDF and email with a published per-document price.
What Impargo’s free plan includes, and who it fits
Impargo’s Basic plan costs €0 with no time limit. It includes unlimited office users, three driver apps, the quote and truck-cost calculator, subcontractor profiles, document management, waiting-time documents, orders received through Impargo’s shipper portal, and five AI order captures a month. Routing and toll calculation are restricted on the free plan, and order management, the dispatch board, tracking links, accounting and telematics integrations and phone support are all reserved for paid plans (OMR pricing, October 2026).
So the free plan suits an owner-driver or a one-to-three-truck firm that quotes spot loads, wants a rough toll figure and gets some orders from shippers who already use Impargo’s portal. For that business Impargo’s free plan is a calculator with a document folder, and a useful one.
Impargo’s free plan does not fit a haulier with 5 to 100 trucks. The work a dispatcher does all day (taking orders, planning them on a board, sending a tracking link, invoicing) is not in the free plan; it starts on Business at €179.90 a month. The fourth driver costs €12.90 a month, so a ten-driver fleet is already paying €90 a month for the apps before it has a single paid office feature. And there is no eCMR at any tier. In practice the free plan is outgrown when the owner stops dispatching from memory, usually somewhere between three and five trucks, and the next step is the Business plan plus per-user and per-driver fees. Planlogi takes the opposite approach: every plan is the full system, so the entry plan, Go at €79 a month, already includes orders, planning, eCMR, the driver app, ePOD and invoicing, along with the truck-cost calculator, subcontractor profiles and document management that Impargo’s free plan is built around, and you can take a product tour before you speak to anyone.

Bottom line: Impargo goes deeper on routing, tolls and AI order capture. Planlogi goes deeper on documents, invoicing and everything that happens after the truck is loaded, and the office staff and drivers are included in the price.
Does Impargo have eCMR? Compliance compared
No. As of October 2026 Impargo offers CMR templates, a generator that fills a CMR PDF from order data, and a scanner in the driver app so the signed paper can be photographed and uploaded as proof of delivery. That keeps the paper moving, but it does not replace it, and it does not give you an eFTI-ready document.

Planlogi creates the eCMR from the order, validates the required fields, lets the driver collect signatures in the app, shares it by link or PDF, and archives it. It is on Estonia’s official e-CMR integration list since 2024 and is eFTI-ready ahead of enforcement under Regulation (EU) 2020/1056, which member states must accept between August 2026 and July 2027. TruckMovers, which delivers trucks and buses across Europe with subcontracted drivers, has had a Planlogi eCMR pass a German police check. If eCMR is on your list because a customer or the 2027 deadline put it there, this is the row that decides the shortlist. This eCMR buyer’s guide covers what to check in any vendor.
Which has the better dispatch board and driver app?
Impargo has the stronger router: tolls, driving times and ADR for the tour in front of you. Planlogi has the wider dispatch desk: a board for the whole fleet, subcontractors, multi-leg trips and a driver app that is included for every driver, which Tarvas Invest’s drivers learned in one phone call.
Impargo’s strength is the route. Its truck router handles vehicle profiles, EU tolls, driving and rest times, ADR and CO₂ per ISO 14083, and its dispatch board shows a timeline per vehicle with drag and drop (Software Advice, OMR pricing). On the free plan routing and toll calculations are restricted; live traffic and cost-optimised routing start on Professional, and the board itself is a Business feature.

Planlogi’s planning and dispatch covers the haulier’s whole day: a vehicle-based route and manifest, drag-and-drop planning on a map, stop re-sequencing, terminal shipments, subcontractor profiles so an order goes to a partner in one click, and linking multi-leg trips between drivers. Drag-and-drop planning starts on Team; automatic route optimisation is on Pro. Toll calculation is not part of Planlogi; hauliers that quote on tolls keep their routing tool for that and run the orders in Planlogi.

On the driver side both have an Android and iOS app with job list, stop details, navigation and photo proof. The practical question is whether drivers use it. Tarvas Invest’s drivers learned the Planlogi app in one phone call. At Olaret, 80% of drivers actively use it in a team that was not keen on apps. At ML Transport, the older drivers managed the app too, and a new driver was using it in full within a week. Ott, transport planner at Tarvi Transport, put it this way: “Planlogi’s driver app is so simple and foolproof that the real problem turns out to be people not knowing how to use a tablet.” With Impargo, every driver beyond the three included (five on Business) costs €12.90 a month, so a 25-driver fleet pays for 20 extra apps.
Which invoices faster and syncs with accounting?
Planlogi. Both make invoices from completed orders, but Planlogi adds credit notes, BAF surcharges, consolidated invoices and e-invoice dispatch and connects to Merit, Standard Books, Directo and Rapid; Tarvas Invest invoices on the day of delivery. Impargo invoices on its Business plan and connects to Lexware Office, sevDesk and SmartBill.
Impargo creates single and collective invoices from completed orders with the POD attached, supports a foreign currency per order, and pushes invoices to Lexware Office, sevDesk or SmartBill on the Business plan (Capterra, OMR pricing). Credit notes, e-invoice formats and dunning are not listed on its public billing or integration pages.
Planlogi invoices from the completed job in seconds, shows every uninvoiced order in one view, attaches the eCMR and route card, handles credit notes, automates BAF fuel surcharges, consolidates invoices and sends e-invoices (consolidated invoicing and e-invoice dispatch from Team). Tarvas Invest, 28 trucks on the Estonia to Finland corridor, cut its Monday invoicing from 10 to 12 hours to under 5 hours a week and now invoices on the day of delivery instead of a week later. Sten, who runs exports and development there, describes how it used to work: “One person pulled the invoices onto a USB stick and ran to the other end of the office so the other could send them out to customers.” Unilog brought invoice creation from 3 minutes to 20 seconds with the accounting integration.
Planlogi vs Impargo pricing: what it costs at your size
With one dispatcher and three trucks Impargo is cheaper, €44.90 a month against Planlogi Go at €79. With two dispatchers and ten trucks Planlogi Team costs €199 a month against €274.30 on Impargo Business, and at thirty trucks Pro costs €499 against €562.20, all on monthly billing in October 2026.
Both vendors publish prices, so you can do this sum yourself. Impargo’s plans in October 2026 are Basic €0, Professional €44.90 a month billed monthly and Business €179.90 a month billed monthly. Extra office users cost €19.90 on Professional and €29.90 on Business; extra driver apps €12.90 (OMR pricing). Planlogi’s plans are Go €79, Team €199, Pro €499 and Max from €1,200 a month, 12% off on annual billing, no setup fee, with dispatchers, drivers, vehicles and clients unlimited on every plan.
Operation | Impargo (monthly billing) | Planlogi (monthly billing) |
|---|---|---|
3 trucks, 1 dispatcher, routing and quotes only | Professional €44.90 | Go €79 |
10 trucks, 2 dispatchers, 10 drivers, orders to invoice | Business €179.90 + 1 extra user €29.90 + 5 extra apps €64.50 = €274.30 | Team €199 |
30 trucks, 3 dispatchers, 30 drivers | Business €179.90 + €59.80 + 25 × €12.90 = €562.20 | Pro €499 |

On annual billing both come down: Impargo’s Professional plan to €34.90 and Business to €119.90, so the two examples above become €214.30 and €502.20; Planlogi’s Team to €175 and Pro to €439.
Sources: Impargo’s published prices as listed on its OMR Reviews pricing tab, October 2026; Planlogi’s pricing page.
Bottom line: Impargo is cheaper for a one-person office that needs routing more than orders. From roughly ten trucks, once the office needs order management, tracking links and accounting sync, Planlogi costs less on the same billing terms. Every dispatcher or driver you add after that widens the gap in Planlogi’s favour.
Switching from Impargo: what migrates
Your customers, addresses and vehicles come across by import, open orders by re-entry or an Excel import, and your PDF archive stays yours. A fleet of up to 20 trucks is normally working in Planlogi after one onboarding session.
Bulk Excel/CSV import is a Pro feature; for smaller fleets the onboarding session covers the import. Archived PDFs can be stored against the matching orders. Larger fleets get a structured rollout, and drivers install the Planlogi app on the phone they already carry.
Proof from hauliers your size
For a wider shortlist of TMS for small carriers, see this guide to the best TMS software for small carriers in Europe.
TruckMovers: one person runs about 100 vehicle deliveries a month with a couple of dozen subcontracted drivers, invoices in one click through their accounting software, and its eCMR has passed a German police check. Tarvas Invest: 100 to 140 loads a week with a four-person office, invoicing time down from 10 to 12 hours a week to under five. Olaret: about 1,000 container loads a month with two dispatchers and 80% of drivers active in the app.

Frequently asked questions
Which is better for a German haulier with 50 trucks, Planlogi or Impargo?
At 50 trucks the two differ mostly on eCMR and on price structure. Impargo gives you truck routing with tolls and a dispatch board on its Business plan, with extra fees per dispatcher and per driver app. Planlogi gives you orders, dispatch, an eFTI-ready eCMR, the driver app and invoicing on one flat plan (Pro at €499 for 1,000 orders a month) with unlimited users and drivers. If a legal eCMR, a fixed cost and a system your dispatchers run from day one matter more than toll calculation, Planlogi fits; if routing accuracy for German tolls matters most, Impargo fits.
Is there an alternative to Impargo with eCMR included?
Yes. Planlogi includes its own eCMR on every plan, listed on Estonia’s official e-CMR integration list since 2024 and eFTI-ready. Impargo offers CMR templates and a scanner for signed paper, not an electronic consignment note.
What does Impargo cost for 10 trucks and 2 dispatchers?
On Impargo’s published prices in October 2026, the Business plan at €179.90 a month, plus one extra user at €29.90 and five extra driver apps at €12.90, comes to €274.30 a month. Planlogi Team is €199 a month with no per-user or per-driver fees. On annual billing the two figures are €214.30 and €175.
What is in Impargo’s free plan, and who is it for?
The free Basic plan has unlimited office users, three driver apps, the quote and truck-cost calculator, document storage and orders from Impargo’s shipper portal, with restricted routing and toll calculation. It suits an owner-driver or a one-to-three-truck firm that mainly quotes and routes. Order management, the dispatch board, tracking links, integrations and phone support need a paid plan, and a fourth driver app costs €12.90 a month.
Can Planlogi calculate truck tolls like Impargo?
No. Planlogi plans and dispatches loads, creates eCMRs and invoices; it does not calculate tolls. Hauliers that need a toll calculator for quoting can keep a routing tool alongside Planlogi.
Which accounting systems does each connect to?
Impargo connects to Lexware Office, sevDesk and SmartBill on its Business plan. Planlogi connects to Merit, Standard Books, Directo and Rapid from the Team plan; ERP integrations are part of the Max plan.
